Terms of Use
Last updated: July 14, 2026
By using Batch Label Studio (the free web application or the Pro downloadable application, together "the Software"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Software.
1. What the Software Does
The Software is a rendering tool that generates barcode and QR code label images from values you supply. It does not issue, register, or validate GS1, UPC, EAN, GTIN, or any other commercial identifiers. You are solely responsible for obtaining valid identifiers from the appropriate issuing organization and for the accuracy of the data you encode.
2. Your Responsibility to Verify Output
Barcode scannability depends on your printer, media, ink, label size, and scanner. Always test-scan a printed sample before producing labels at volume. You assume full responsibility for verifying that printed labels scan correctly before production use. We are not liable for production runs, re-printing costs, or downstream losses caused by unverified output.
3. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Software to produce labels that are fraudulent, counterfeit, or unlawful, including barcodes intended to misrepresent products at retail or circumvent identification systems.
4. Purchases
Batch Label Studio Pro is a one-time purchase delivered as a digital download. Payment is processed through Payhip. All applicable fees and taxes are shown at checkout.
5. Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to our Refund Policy. Because the Pro application is a digital good delivered immediately, refunds are limited to the situations described in that policy.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every use case.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from your use of the Software is limited to the amount you paid for Batch Label Studio Pro, or zero if you used the free version. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
