Barcode Label Templates

Choose a standard label sheet size, design your barcode label, and export a print-ready PDF that fills the sheet. All templates are sized to match standard label stock.

Choosing the Right Label Sheet

Label sheets fall into two broad categories: sheet labels (pre-cut on A4 or Letter paper, used in a standard office laser or inkjet printer) and continuous thermal labels (rolls used in thermal printers). Sheet labels are ideal for low-volume, office printing. Thermal rolls are faster and cheaper per label for high volumes.

The most popular sheet label format in North America is the 30-up format (3 columns × 10 rows), exemplified by the Avery 5160 (2.625″ × 1″). In Europe, the A4 equivalent is the Avery L7160 (63.5 × 38.1 mm). Both are widely stocked and work in standard office printers.

For shipping labels, the 4″ × 6″ thermal format is standard across FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Use our thermal label maker to design a 4″ × 6″ label, and our label sheet calculator to figure out how many labels fit on a custom sheet.

Design a Label Using Any Template
