Barcode Label Software That Runs in Your Browser
Batch Label Studio is barcode label software that never uploads your data. Generate QR codes, Code 128, UPC-A, EAN-13, and Code 39 labels — one at a time or thousands from a spreadsheet — entirely on your device.
What Batch Label Studio does
Most barcode label software either requires installation, charges a monthly fee, or routes your product data through a cloud server. Batch Label Studio works differently: it is a web application that runs entirely inside your browser. Your CSV files, product numbers, and label designs never leave your machine.
The free version is a full single-label designer. Choose a barcode type, enter a value, add a title or description, set the label size, and export a print-ready PNG or true-vector SVG. No account needed.
The Pro version adds spreadsheet import. Load a CSV or XLSX file, map your columns, and the software generates every label locally — thousands of rows, zero uploads. Export as a multi-page PDF for label sheets or as a ZIP of individual PNGs with a manifest CSV.
Supported barcode formats
Code 128
Alphanumeric, high-density. Logistics, warehouse, and shipping standard.
QR Code
Encodes URLs, text, contacts, WiFi credentials, and more.
UPC-A
12-digit North American retail standard. Check digit calculated automatically.
EAN-13
13-digit international retail standard. Required for products sold globally.
Code 39
Alphanumeric, widely supported. Common in healthcare and defence.
How the label workflow works
- 1
Prepare your data
Create a spreadsheet with one row per label. Include columns for the barcode value, the barcode type (code128, upca, ean13, qr, code39), and any text you want printed on the label such as a product name or description.
- 2
Import the file
Open Batch Label Studio Pro and drag your CSV or XLSX onto the import area. The software detects column headers automatically and shows a data preview before you commit.
- 3
Map your columns and choose a template
Tell the software which column is the barcode value, which is the label title, and which is the description. A live sample label updates as you map each column. Select a built-in label template or set custom dimensions.
- 4
Generate and export
Click Generate. Every barcode is rendered locally in your browser — UPC-A and EAN-13 check digits are calculated automatically, and invalid values are flagged before output. Export as a multi-page PDF for label sheets or a ZIP of PNG files with a manifest.

Your data never leaves your device
Most barcode label software sends your spreadsheet to a server for processing. Batch Label Studio keeps everything local. The barcode rendering engine runs in your browser using JavaScript — no file is ever uploaded, and no label data is stored on any server. This matters when your spreadsheet contains product numbers, internal SKUs, or customer order data.
